Because some properties receive a high number of inquiries, response times may vary, but we do our best to follow up as quickly as possible. Please note that rentals are not handled on a first-come, first-served basis. We represent the property owner and work to help find a qualified tenant based on the owner’s rental criteria.
Here’s how the process typically works:
- Initial review
Before scheduling a showing, we may ask you to complete a short pre-qualification form. In some cases, a full application may be requested first. No application fee is due until after you have viewed the unit. - Showings
Showings may be scheduled by appointment. If there is a large amount of interest in a property, we may hold an open house so more people have an opportunity to view it. - Application
After viewing the unit, interested applicants will be required to submit a completed application and application processing fee. - Screening and review
Applications are processed by verifying the information provided, completing a background check, and running a credit check. Additional documentation, such as a driver’s license or pay stubs, may be required. This process can take several business days. - Owner decision
Once processed, applications are reviewed with the owner/landlord for a final decision. If you are not selected for a particular unit, your application may remain on file for a reasonable time period for use on another available unit.
